Kate Wyatt Trio | Murmurations

Montreal-based pianist and composer Kate Wyatt leads a trio characterized by lyricism, finesse, and a deep musical rapport. Following her highly acclaimed debut album, Artifact (2022) - which appeared on several "Best Jazz Albums of 2022" lists and earned her a nomination for the Paul de Hueck and Norman Walford Career Achievement Award, Wyatt returns with Murmurations (2025), which confirms her trio's unique voice within Canadian jazz. Alongside double bassist Adrian Vedady and drummer Louis-Vincent Hamel, Wyatt creates music that is at once graceful and intense, spontaneous and precise. The result transcends boundaries and reveals the quiet power of true collective expression.

"Kate Wyatt has established her place not only among the most captivating voices in Canadian jazz, but also as an artist whose work resonates far beyond geographical and stylistic boundaries." — Thierry De Clemensat, Paris-Move
