George Gershwin began writing his celebrated opera, Porgy & Bess, in 1926 - the birth year of Miles Davis.
In keeping with this centennial anniversary of Miles, Aron Doyle is paying tribute to both Davis and Gershwin with an adaptation of this American folk opera for jazz quintet.
